Winter Ready Your Wheels Helpers

Blue Mountain 4H was awarded $4000 to help people in our community with problems with their cars or other transportation. Many of you have already volunteered to help and we will need more:

  1. Anyone in the automotive business that would like to participate could you call or write to me and we can discuss your position. If you want to advertise, I need a logo or scan of a business card for our poster. Thank You Turners and Culvers for your help!

  2. We will need members and parents to help:

    • review recipient forms.
    • help with rides for people
    • help the Treasurer and Secretary with accounting and tracking
    • work with vendors to secure discounts or donations of parts
    • schedule work times

  3. Members and Parents: This is a great opportunity to learn about vehicle maintenance and basic repair. If you are interested in helping work let me know as soon as possible; email is best.

  4. I have been asked to be interviewed in Helena for a documentary/news report on the project this Wednesday 1/12/11 ( just found out on Friday). If any one is interested in coming, please let me know ASAP.

  5. Officers: There is a great opportunity to sharpen your communication and presentation skills. Let me know if you can participate with a radio interview.
